FAQ

What types of events can be insured?
In short: (almost) all of them. Whether it’s a club show or a large festival – we find the right coverage for your:

• Concerts & festivals
• Club and tour shows
• Trade fairs & exhibitions
• Sports events
• Corporate & company parties
• Weddings, club gatherings & private parties
• Conferences & meetings

Just reach out and we’ll help find what fits your event.
What types of insurance make sense for events?
It depends on your event – but typically, these are the key building blocks:

• Cancellation insurance: If the event has to be canceled or cut short at short notice
• Organizer’s liability insurance: Protection if third parties are harmed – for example, due to equipment or setup/tear-down
• Equipment insurance: Coverage for your gear – whether rented or owned
• Accident insurance: For helpers, crew members, or participants

We’ll advise you on the right level of coverage.
Is liability insurance legally required for events?
No, there is usually no legal obligation.

But: As an organizer, you are fully liable for any damages related to your event – for example, if guests are injured or property is damaged.

Without organizer’s liability insurance, you bear this risk yourself – potentially with high financial consequences. Appropriate liability insurance protects you exactly from that and is therefore highly recommended, whether it’s a small club show or a big festival.
When should I take out insurance?
As early as possible – ideally during the planning phase of your event.

The sooner you contact us, the more options we have – especially for complex events or special risks. This leaves enough time for advice, comparing offers, and proper coverage.
Does the insurance cover bad weather or force majeure?
Yes – if you want it to.

Cancellation insurance can be tailored to cover weather risks, official shutdowns, or other unforeseeable events.
How much does event cancellation insurance cost?
It’s as individual as your event. The price depends on factors like:

• Type and size of the event
• Duration and location
• Scope of coverage

We’re happy to create a custom quote for you.

• Assistance with filing the claim

You can reach us 24/7 via our emergency contacts.
How can I get a non-binding quote?
Just get in touch – by email, phone, or through our contact form.

For a first quote, we only need a few details:

• Type of event
• Date & location
• Estimated number of attendees
• Equipment used or special risks

The rest is on us.
